I just love Dr. Suess too! I have found that my kids and even the ones at school just love all those fun and silly at rhymes. I think that it helps to build great connections to the concept if they have a book to tie it back to. Thanks for sharing that.
Theresa, Here is a great link to all Dr. Seuss: http://www.seussville.com/ Dr. S. birthday is March 2 and most schools celebrate his birthday along with the 100th day of school (which lands on or around the first parth of March). I love Dr. S. and I proudly wear my Cat in the Hat t-shirt everytime I go to the library or any other literacy event. Thanks for sharing, Kari
My childhood favorite books were Dr, Suess: Green Eggs & Ham
ReplyDeleteNow I favor Baby Baby Please by. Spike Lee and Linda Lee
