1).
WESTED
This organization resonated with me because its mission is
to promote excellence, achieve equity, educate and improve learning for
children, youth and adults. Their affiliations are national and abroad, which
also appealed to me because that means they are looking out for children all
over the world. They work on
assessments, standard, and accountability, which is an area our children seem
to be struggling with passing achievement test in our area. The salary is definitely a plus for working
and advocating for children and families.

Theresa,
ReplyDeleteI can remember watching Save the Children commercials on T.V. as a young child. Even then I was drawn to help children in need. I would ask my mother if we could donate money, and she would always agree. It is amazing to see the positive impact that they still have on young children and families so many years later. Seeing your passion for children and families leads me to believe that you would enjoy working for such a wonderful organization.
Thank you for sharing,
Krista
Dear Theresa,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your post. I like the Wested organization because they seem to be and organization that I can work for. I like communicating with people and getting the word out there that will help increase the test scores of young children. I think I will take a look at that organization a little more for myself.
Theresa,
ReplyDeleteAll of these look like great opportunities. The salary is inviting and soon I will have all the skills. Thanks for your detailed postings
